What is A-Level?

The A-Levels is a UK-based qualification offered to high school students. The A-Levels typically takes the form of a two-year course and is recognized across the world as an entry qualification into many undergraduate university programs. A-Levels are evaluated against a Letter-Grade system, from A* to E. The A-Levels used to be modular (incorporating AS-Levels) but have undergone some recent changes – grades are now entirely based on final exams taken at the end of the typical two-year course.

What subjects should you take?

Students generally take 3 subjects for the A-Levels. They are free to pick whatever subjects that they may wish to study, choosing a subject you have a genuine interest in and aptitude for would ensure a good grade, but it should be noted that certain undergraduate programs may have specific subject requirements, e.g., most undergraduate medicine programs will typically require chemistry (these requirements vary depending on the university).

How can I prepare for A-Level?

Private tuition helps students develop better study skills and to perform better in exams. Tutors develop a more personal relationship with students, they are able to see and cultivate the potential within them. Group classes are a good alternative for students who perform better in group environments, study with friends and pay less or meet likeminded people.

Our tutors are more than familiar with these requisite techniques and would be more than happy to personalize the teaching process so as to address any weaknesses in your general exam-taking strategy.

TIPS!

Your university degree will build on the material in the required A-level subjects, so if you do not enjoy those subjects you will not enjoy the degree you have chosen.
